The fine-art photographic print is the final realization of any image. It is the exception, not the rule. It is the culmination of countless hours in the field, countless failures, and heartbreaking frustration. Once back in the studio, the failures, frustration, and hours are repeated. But the final result, the vision realized, is satisfying and meaningful. It is easily worth the effort.
20-inch, collector edition prints
My photographic prints are direct reflections of my vision of the world. Strict reality is not my goal. Rather, though the creative presentation of each image, I am trying to recreate the feelings, experiences and my connections with the land. To evoke emotions or memories or feelings from the viewer. To encourage dialog.
Each of my prints are made by me, in my studio, to exacting standards and quality. Only museum-grade archival materials—print paper, mat board, tape, backing board, etc.—and my utmost care, are used to ensure your treasured purchase lasts for many decades to come.
What prints are for sale? If I included an image on the website, it has met with my expectations and standards and may be purchased. There are hundreds of images included within this site, and I trust you will find, among the various galleries, a photograph which speaks to you.
So why buy a print? For starters, it helps to support me, as an artist, in my quest to fill a indefinable and nagging desire, a need, to explore my surroundings and create new work. Secondly, and more importantly, it provides you with a tangible and tactile piece of unique and meaningful artwork which, I am sure, will be appreciated for many, many years.
I currently offer prints in three sizes and price points.
